About
Dairy Acres of Baker
Our charming blueberry farm, Dairy Acres of Baker, got its name from this land which was once 300 acres of dairy farm. I purchased the farm from John Richardson Jr. and his wife, Mary on New Years Eve of 2020. As I was getting ready to depart from the Air Force, I realized that getting back to the quiet country life would be a welcomed change. I would never have imagined I would be a blueberry farmer! My blueberry farm keeps me busy with irrigation and pruning the bushes to help them grow and improve the crop year after year. Our farm consists of 1,000 bushes, 37 rows and 5 varities, including Climax, Powder Blue, Tiffiany Blue , Premire and Brightwell. With our effective transplating system using clips to grow more plants, we will have more beautiful bushes for you to stroll through and enjoy our delicious berries!

We have a portable building on site where we have been selling a few jellies and Jams, but our biggest seller is our Blueberry honey. We harvest the honey from the plants on the farm. We also have been selling other produce like peaches, watermelon, squash, okra, cucumbers, tomatoes, and much more. Our future plans for the farm are to add 400 blackberry plants to the field, be able to sell blueberry plants, and also get a bigger building to be able to sell other drinks snacks, and ice cream.
